I have some training in the use of the fabrics already. If I can simply purchase the fabric at my local fabric store, that would be great, but I'm thinking that I'll end up having to purchase the fabric through a company that deals with aerial acrobatics supplies. I just need to know where to find the fabric, and what type it needs to be. Thanks!

I have a lot of blue and some yellow fabric. I wonder if I can stretch those instead of proper canvas fabric. I am planning to apply gesso on it and paint with acrylics. Has any one ever done this? Also the fabric is not as thick as proper canvas fabric, but I know gesso will add to the thickness.

I really want to get my own fabric paints to do my own t-shirts. I took a class at my school where we made t-shirts, and my teacher said the type that she uses lasts really long, and all you have to do is paint it on and then iron the other side and it'll stick. I'm not sure what brand that was, but is there any good fabric paints that lasts long? Also if you could tell me if it was sold at like a Micheal's or Joann Fabrics, or Craft Warehouse, that would be nice too.

Looking to apply a heatset rhinestone design on one side of the fabric and velcro on the other side to make a rhinestone patch for a dance team. I am planning on making a winter coat for myself as a fun project and I am wondering what type of fabric I should use. We live in TN so it does get cold and snow, but not that much. My pattern says cotton, coton blends, poplin, gabardine. and China silk for the lining. What do you think of those fabrics, not really knowledgeable about them? Thank you in advanced.
